Filery

Privacy

This is short, because there is not much to say when files are never transmitted.

Your files

We never receive them. Every tool on Filery processes files locally in your browser. Your documents, photos, audio and video are read from your device into browser memory, processed by your own processor, and saved back to your device. At no point are they sent to us or to anyone else.

This is not a policy commitment that could change with a future update — it is how the software is built. You can verify it yourself in your browser's Network tab. See the verification guide.

Because of this we do not, and cannot: store your files, back them up, scan them, analyse them, use them for training, or share them with anyone.

What we do collect

Basic usage analytics, if enabled: which pages are visited, roughly where in the world from, and which tools get used. This tells us what to build and what to fix. It contains nothing about your files — not names, not sizes, not contents.

Local browser storage. We keep your theme preference and recently used tool settings in your browser's own storage so the site remembers them. This never leaves your device and you can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Third parties

CDN requests. Some tools download a WebAssembly engine or an AI model from a public CDN (jsDelivr) the first time you use them. That CDN will see your IP address and which file you requested, as with any web request. It reveals nothing about the file you are processing. These downloads are cached, so it happens once.

Advertising. If ads are enabled on this site they are served by Google AdSense, which sets cookies and may use them for personalisation subject to your choices and local law. Ads are placed so they never sit between you and a tool, and they are never inserted into your output. There is no watermark, ever.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own. Preferences are stored in localStorage, which is not transmitted with requests. Any cookies present come from advertising, if enabled.

Children

Filery is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, CCPA and similar frameworks you have rights of access, deletion, correction and portability over personal data a service holds about you. In our case the honest answer is that we hold essentially none — there is no account, no file storage and no profile. If you want to exercise a right or simply ask what we have, email hello@filery.app.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the change will be noted on this page. The core commitment — files are processed locally and never uploaded — is architectural, not editorial.
